This website will eventually become a digital archive of my collection of club and rave flyers from the late 80s and 90s, picked up in record shops, handed to me outside venues, or posted to me before the days of email and the internet. It’s predominantly London-centric but some are from further afield.
In 1995 they were featured in the book Highflyers and in 1996 they were featured in an exhibition (and book) at London’s Barbican Art Gallery entitled Jam: style+music+media. More recently they’ve been featured in London Rave Flyers 1990-1996 by Colpa Press.
I’m currently in the process of digitizing them, to document what was a momentous period of music and youth culture.
